LTR specialises in organising special parties and bespoke celebrations hosted at one of our houses and castles in England, Scotland or Ireland.
These are usually family events or corporate parties, where guests are being hosted and we help arrange every aspect of the celebration. Everything is tailor made and specific to the particular event and LTR uses its extensive knowledge of our homes, the best suppliers available, the most appropriate activities that they might enjoy and bring a wealth of experience from previous events to help guide our client towards all the right choices.
This is why people use LTR. We offer good, sound and impartial advice and a complete concierge service for as much as you might require. We love organising parties and celebrations of any kind and our homes lend themselves brilliantly to these events.
Indeed most of our houses and castles in England, Scotland and Ireland were specifically built to entertain large numbers of guests and often for quite long periods. The large state rooms were designed to impress and the upstairs quarters had to accommodate large numbers of guests and their staff. The houses and castles sit in large estates and are surrounded by formal and informal gardens and often extensive woodlands. There is usually a lot of space available and always in the most beautiful of surroundings. These old families grabbed the best ‘real estate’ and the homes allow clients to celebrate in a very secure and private location.
This of course is ideal for parties, where music can be played into the early hours, there are extensive parking areas and the home is exclusively yours for the duration of the event. With long drive ways and often panoramic views over the surrounding countryside, these venues transport guests into a very romantic environment.
With the passage of time and the familiarity some guests now have with many of these ancestral homes, the challenge for LTR is often to find new venues which they don’t already know about and which offer even more glamorous facilities for their celebration or party. These venues do exist and many like to operate below the radar, preferring to host just a few events per year and not to be advertised in the public domain at all.
We can open doors to quite a few such houses and castles and are delighted to assist with special requests. We also act as a type of vetting system where each property is visited regularly and their standards are monitored. Like any venue private homes do vary in quality and many fluctuate in terms of standards, depending on who owns them, manages them and often who is cleaning them! We monitor this and advise you accordingly, saving you a lot of stress and worry about a certain property, when a better one might be available close by.
