A floating country house........

No stranger to Royal visitors, The Hebridean Princess has been chartered for two Royal Cruises with the most recent one being in August 2010 with Her Majesty The Queen celebrating the birthdays of Prince Andrew and Princess Anne.  The Hebridean Princess is the epitome of comfort, beautifully designed and decorated throughout. Relax cosily by the inglenook fireplace in the panoramic Tiree Lounge, retire to one of her many delightful corners - the Conservatory, the Library or the Look Out Lounge - after dining in the Columba Restaurant, or, whenever the mood takes you, to the freedom of your own room, home from home.

Hebridean is unlike any other cruise company.
Hebridean Princess is unlike any other cruise ship.

Here you will find none of the brash garishness so often associated with cruise ships and cruising. Instead, they welcome their guests on-board their elegant and refined vessels into an atmosphere where congenial company mixes with an anticipation of discovery. Where service and your comfort are paramount and where, as the purveyors of the Finest Privately Escorted Tours, we take you into the cultural and historical centre of each destination we visit.

The ship echoes the company philosophy that "small is personal", giving a small number of guests the very special Hebridean Experience of luxury cruising to off the beaten track destinations. Their excellent crew have earned Hebridean a world-class reputation for unbeatable service, fine food and wine and an attention to detail no longer common in the present era of mass travel.

The Privately Escorted Tours set Hebridean apart from any other cruise operator. Combining erudite, well-informed and often well-known onboard guest speakers with adept and expert local guides. Each Privately Escorted Tour seeks to capture the unique essence of each destination in a manner that is enjoyable and relaxed yet informative and interesting.

The  Hebridean Princess, has cruised the waters of the Scottish West Coast for the past twenty years, introducing what is the most dramatic and emotive coastline in Europe to a new and enchanted audience. The original "country house" cruise ship, she welcomes many new passengers on board for the first time each season and has a very loyal following. Hebridean Princess sails the Inner and Outer Hebrides, far flung St Kilda, the Orkney and Shetland Islands and the magnificently remote lochs and peninsulas of mainland Scotland. Only departing briefly in late summer, as she heads for Norway to sail it’s breathtaking Fjords.

There are so many things that make Hebridean different, which unite to create the Hebridean Experience. We like to think that time aboard either ship represents a meeting of minds – discovery, friendship, relaxation, insight; people take so many different things from their time with us. What is clear though is that we welcome back most of our guests time and again. There can be no more convincing endorsement of Hebridean, our ships and our philosophy than this.
