As from 2008 onwards, only Members of The Carnegie Club are permitted access to the joys of visiting Skibo Castle. The membership is often fully subscribed, in which case applicants, if accepted, are placed on a wait list.
In some cases friends of members can be permitted to stay at the Castle.
