About 50 miles west of Cork city and the airport, sits Churchtown House, a three storey Georgian country house built in 1740 by Sir Roland Blannerhassett which has been in the same ownership since 1860.
Churchtown House is a classic example of Irish Georgian architecture which has been sensitively and sympathetically restored to offer luxurious, exclusive use accommodation.
All the reception rooms are very well appointed and the large modern, family kitchen with Aga and sofas is very much the centre point of the house. There are 6 double bedrooms all with their own private bathrooms, dining room, morning room and drawing room, games room and home entertainment room. Sky is available and there is wifi throughout the house.
Churchtown is a magical base for guests who wish to explore this very famous coastline on the west of Ireland with the major towns of Killarney, Killorglin, Kenmare, Dingle and Tralee all within easy reach and there are many beautiful beaches just around the corner. Apart from Beaufort Golf Course, where, subject to availability guests at Churchtown have free us of, there are also five internationally renowned golf courses within an hour's drive.
The Killarney National Park covers a large part of the coastal area and is perfect for long walks and a mass of outdoor pursuits.
