A few miles from Chippenham in Wiltshire sits Langton Park which is approached via a sweeping drive through pretty parkland. The house is an 18th Century Georgian grade II* listed property, built with Cotswold stone. The house has been massively restored in recent years and is now extremely comfortable, with lovely large rooms and huge windows making the house feel wonderfully light and spacious.
You enter into a large and elegant staircase hall, off which is a big drawing room, a smaller sitting room, a tv room/study and a dining room which seats 16. There is also a large kitchen with a separate dining area for up to 20 guests. There is a table tennis room behind the kitchen and also a staff flat. Downstairs there are extensive cellars, part of which has been made into a nightclub. The house is filled with modern art and has a lovely feeling of old mixed with new, light and spacious rooms mixed with old school elegance.
The 1st floor has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. On the top floor are an additional four bedrooms with four bathrooms (3 are en-suite). The rather cool attic has another double bedroom with shower room en-suite plus dressing room, which would be perfect for the teenage son or nanny.
