This attractive Grade II manor house is tucked away in the south Devon valley and is part of a 5,000 acre Saxon estate that straddles the Erme Estuary.
Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the countryside is stunning with broadleaf woodlands, rolling pastures, little hamlets and a lacework of private drives and beaches, including the estate's own secluded beach at Mothercombe Bay.
This is a perfect spot for families, with acres of sand shimmering under a vast sky and the odd rock pool for vital exploration. The whole area has a very secluded feel, which is a major part of its appeal.
The house has been completely restored and refurbished to a very high standard. The owners have left it light and informal but comfortable and well thought out. Between the luxury spacious main bedrooms and a top floor flat, the house can sleep 17, with modern bathrooms throughout.

The surrounding area offers a treasure trove of fun activities and visitor attractions; walks along the coastline, plentiful cycle routes and horse rides across the beautiful Dartmoor countryside with hundreds of miles of ancient bridleways.
There are watersports galore (sailing, surfing, jet skis, diving or just paddling), a dozen excellent golf courses, bird watching on the estuaries or wetlands and sea or river fishing.
Inland, guests can enjoy the Haldon forestry park, shopping at China Blue in Exeter, prehistoric caves at Totnes, the Golden Hind at Brixham, the Dartmouth steam railway and the Wheeldon farm off-road bike centre.
