Minutes away from the Castle, Parliament, Princes and George Streets, The Atholl is also close to both Waverley and Haymarket stations and 20 minutes from the airport. This is a fantastic small hotel for both private and corporate clients and a very welcome addition to the Edinburgh hotel scene, which is very short of luxury venues.
The house is split into 4 suites - the Cluny suite, with 2 bedrooms, the Abercromby with 3 bedrooms, terrace and hot tub, the Dundonald with 3 bedrooms and its own whisky tasting room and the Palmerston with one bedroom. Every suite has a large seating area and an ultra-modern kitchen with dining area. Every room is beautifully decorated and the wine and cheese fridges in each kitchen were the most sophisticated LTR has ever seen. This is luxury of the highest level and combined with a great team of staff, guests will want for nothing. The dining experience at The Atholl is provided by chefs trained and supervised by Chef Albert Roux, head of the famous cooking dynasty behind such establishments as Le Gavroche, which was the first ever restaurant in the UK to be awarded three Michelin Stars. Your own private chef will prepare your tailored menu in the suite's state of the art kitchen; combined with delicious wines. They have thought of pretty much everything here and the attention to detail is very impressive.
