The Tower of Lethendy is a mix of 15th century architecture and later Victorian additions, completed in 1880.
It is surrounded by 50 acres of gardens, woodland and a private golf course with the Tower accessed by a long driveway from the gate lodge, making it extremely private and secure.
The Tower of Lethendy is the finest home we have available for exclusive use in central Scotland, UK and is within easy reach of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and St Andrews with the nearest towns being Perth and Blairgowrie.
The Tower of Lethendy (small castle) has 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms arranged over three floors with some accessed by spiral staircases but most from the main, wide, wood paneled front staircase.
The bedrooms are all of a very good size, decorated in different styles and having private modern bathrooms with power showers, under floor heating and large baths. The master bedroom suite has its own sitting room, 2 bathrooms and masses of closet space.
The Tower has a steam room, sauna and massage area. There is a large formal sitting room, an informal TV room, a large billiards room with computer desk, a bar room, table tennis in the old cellar, a large dining room and extensive hallways. A full team of staff is on hand to look after our guests.
Outside there are amazing facilities, with an 18 hole ‘par 3’, 2,727 yard golf course, designed by Ben Crenshaw, grass and clay tennis courts, a heated kidney shaped swimming pool and a small gym. There are large formal gardens, a pretty woodland walk following a burn at the back of the Tower and extensive lawns.
The original Tower built in 1570 by Sir David Herring (Heron) of the family of Herring of Drumlochy, is steeped in history. Kings and Queens, armies and Generals, poets and artists have all passed this way leaving behind a rich legacy of castles, churches, battlefields and historic sites.
Glamis Castle, childhood home to the late HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and Scone Palace, fascinating home to the Earls of Mansfield where many Kings of Scotland were crowned are both historic gems to visit. If you are interested in gardens, the House of Pitmuies, Drummond Castle Gardens and Branklyn Garden are all nearby. The Falls of Braan at Dunkeld, fishing villages of East Fife, puffins on the Isle of May, bicycling, golf, fishing (salmon and trout), clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, archery and falconry can all be enjoyed.

"I could not wait until I return to the UK to write to you to thank you for your hard work, assistance and advice which went so far into making the stay at Lethendy amongst the most memorable experiences we have ever had. We have travelled the world and have stayed in a variety of accommodation, but never have we experienced a better attention to detail and delivery of promises exactly as promised than we have experienced at the hands of your company and you personally."
