Villa Michaela is a large early nineteenth century listed villa set in 50 acres of pine forests and olive groves in the hills south of Lucca. It has been painstakingly restored and modernised to an exceptionally high standard. Great care has been taken to restore the original frescoes and maintain the antique feeling of the house while at the same time making it extremely warm, comfortable and welcoming.
There are 10 Double Bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, five reception rooms, a huge Tuscan demonstration kitchen (65' x 35') with La Cornue oven, and another smaller family kitchen/butler's pantry. Atached to the house there is a still consecrated chapel attributed to Nottolini, the famous Lucchese church and aqueduct architect. Many outstanding weddings, music and singing recitals have taken place here over the years. The accoustics are perfect!
