Harburn, Scottish Mansion House

Harburn prides itself on not being a hotel and this is something their guests particularly appreciate. There are no dining room times to be adhered to and above all, no one else you have to share it with. Harburn has excellent cuisine, 8 bedrooms (sleeping 16) all with private bathrooms and there are a further 16 bedrooms (sleeping 28)  in other cottages on the estate, again all with their own bathrooms.

Close to the city of Edinburgh, the owners of Harburn House, have restored a once neglected Georgian mansion in the middle of their 3,000 acre sporting estate. Harburn was originally built in 1804 for Alexander Young and was bought in 1875 by Thomas Barr, the great-grandfather of Humphrey Spurway.
