IntroductionHatton Castle is a beautifully appointed house, surrounded by extensive policies of lawns, lochs, gardens and woodlands, it has been the country seat of the Duffs since 1709, when the first Alexander Duff of Hatton bought the dilapidated Place of Balquholly, which had been in the Mowatt family since the early 1300's.
As one of Scotland's more compact castles it makes an ideal venue for weekend house parties.
