Located in the historic Santa Cruz neighbourhood of Seville, the palace is one of the most exclusive properties in Seville. From the different rooms and terraces of the Palace, guests can enjoy views of the Alcazar gardens, full of soaring palm trees and the geometric parterres. The magnificent thirteenth century building was originally part of the Royal Palace but is now an independent residence. The medieval facade shows an important sculpture of the American writer Washington Irving, who lived at the palace while he wrote his famous work "Tales from the Alhambra".
The Palace was totally restored in 2003 and today offers all kind of modern conveniences without losing the ambiance of a private residence. The palace is filled with antique furniture, important artwork and personal objects. Guests are looked after by the owners staff and every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, heating, telephone and ceiling fan. In the glazed tiled living room, guests will find a computer with broad band internet connection.
Activities could include a trail through hidden Seville, including visits to its most special convents, churches and monasteries.
