Sunday | | Visit Abbotsford - Home of Sir Walter Scott. Lunch at Burts Hotel in Melrose, followed by a short stroll around the town. Visit Thirlestane Castle - One of Scotland's oldest and finest Castles. Afternoon tea at Thirlestane. Dinner at Manderston. Entertained by a storyteller/balladeer after dinner. |
Monday | | Golfers - play The Roxburghe, non golfers - cashmere shopping in Hawick. Meet up for lunch at the Roxburghe Hotel. After lunch visit Floors Castle. Dinner at Manderston. |
Tuesday | | Dropped off in St.Abbs and led on a coastal walk to Eyemouth, enjoying some of the most dramatic coastline Scotland has to offer. Lunch in Eyemouth (wonderful harbour with quaint pubs). Return to Manderston for Archery on the front lawn. Whisky tasting. Dinner at Manderston. |
Wednesday | | Golf at North Berwick, non golfers to visit Tantallon Castle, Bass Rock, Tyninghame Gardens and other local attractions. Dinner at Gilmerton House. Games evening - Freda (round the table billiards), Bridge and Racing Demon.

Thursday | | Coastal day - visit Bamburgh Castle, picnic on the beach, visit Holy Island (tide permitting) and enjoy seaside walks, cricket on the beach and plenty of ice cream. Dinner at Manderston. |
Friday | | Golf at Muirfield (subject to availability), non-golfers relax at Manderston, playing tennis, croquet, cards or just wandering around the estate. Join the golfers after lunch and proceed on to Edinburgh for final night at Channings Hotel. Free evening in Edinburgh for you to explore the city. |
