Why LTR
Total privacy
A key reason why many of our guests use LTR to organise their bespoke, luxury vacations at one of our houses or castles in the UK or Europe is the privacy that these private estates offer.
Usually situated at the end of a long driveway and often accessed along winding roads and through woodland, these homes are truly private and this gives our more high profile guests a lot of comfort.
With the increasingly intrusive nature of the press and the sheer volume of it, business leaders, politicians, judges and people in the media themselves are now much more recognisable.
If they want to escape with their families for a quiet vacation, then hotels are not always the best option. Other guests will want to talk to them, photographs will be taken and they will not really get away from the spotlight. Renting a private home in the middle of a huge estate, resolves this problem and guests can genuinely relax and enjoy their holiday in total privacy.
At LTR we take the privacy of our clients very seriously and indeed often miss out on press opportunities because we do not reveal names to the media.
Our LTR Travel Consultants respect our guests need for some quality time with their friends and family and we are supported in this by both our house owners and their staff, who know that we expect total discretion even after the guests have long gone.
Many of our owners, being high profile people themselves, understand the need for privacy better than most and besides, its all part of the allure of these magical houses and castles that people on the outside don't know exactly what is going on! The houses sit well away from any main roads, pools are usually enclosed and there are extensive private gardens to shield guests from local walkers.
We have many high profile guests who slip in and out without anyone in the media being any the wiser and we work hard to maintain this level of privacy.
