The Accommodation in Detail

This opulent dining room affords spectacular comfort and space to enjoy some of the finest cooking available afloat from the white glove service team on board. With both natural and imaginitive artificial light this room has the most intimate and classical dining ambience and some of the best and most memorable parties are held here.

It is often via this wide, aft deck that guests first board LEANDER. Frequently, of an afternoon, they return to this shady “verandah” setting to enjoy the quiet pleasure of a pretty anchorage or a good book.

This spacious Observation Lounge, located forward on the Boat deck, is truly unique to Leander. Tall panoramic windows offer magnificent, 180° vistas in port or at sea. (It is directly accessible from either the Master and VIP suites.) A central door opens onto the 48 square metre private deck.

What can be better or more enjoyable than dining al fresco, either under the starlit skies or the warmth of the mediterranean sunshine. This deck provides stunning wide panoramic views while lying at anchor or while cruising and the attentive staff are able to attend to every need while laying on sumptious 4 course meals or casual snacks when required.

The large, custom pool runs stem to stern on the aft Boat Deck. Measuring 4 metres by 2 metres, with a depth of over one metre, this rectangular pool can hold 8 tonnes of fresh water. It is equipped with Jacuzzi jets and two counter-currents. When not in use, it is covered and can be used for sunbathing.  Sunbeds and seating have been fitted around the outside.

The bar on the Boat deck is surely the most popular of all Leander’s public areas. Cosy and intimate, guests tend to gather here over a pre-dinner drink and recount the day’s activities. The affable, experienced barman is able to mix the most fashionable cocktails or serve the finest champagne.

Surely a work-out in such a beautifully-appointed gym, complete with its own bathroom, would be a pleasure, not a chore! Two cycling machines, a step machine and the Nordic Track await the more energetic guest. For those requiring a little encouragement, the gym also boasts a DVD player and screen for viewing a wide selection of exercise and musical programmes.
